You ask yourself: "When I die, will I go to Heaven ? How can I know for sure ?"

You may say to yourself: "Well, I am a good person... I have not committed a major sin" or "I don't drink, or curse..." or "I donate to the poor... I go to church....help others...attend church...etc..etc..etc..."

Well, living a righteous life is great but unfortunately, many are unaware that "being good" is just not enough.

In Ephesians chapter 2, verse 8-9, the Bible says "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God. Not of works..."

Some say... "But I believe in God....." Well, that's a start but the Devil also believes in God but he has refused to accept Him as his God as many have today.

Or "Well I don't believe in God or in Hell" Well, you "believing" in something has no influence on it's existence. That is as silly as "believing" that fire doesn't burn when it will burn you whether you believe it or not.  Hell exists and if you don't seek salvation, you're still going there....But it's not too late. There is still time to save yourself.

Today is the day of salvation. This might be the first, last, or only time you hear this message. Tomorrow may be too late. Many will regret rejecting God when it will be too late. That's why this "Plan" or Message is SO important. Don't pass up this opportunity. This could determine where you spend eternity.

This is not about which "religion" you are part of nor which church you go to. This is about You and God. Having a relationship between you and Your Creator; Acknowledging His son, Jesus, who came and died for your sins. This is what we call the "Plan of Salvation" which is explained below.

Man once had perfect fellowship with God. Adam and Eve walked with God and talked with God each day in the beauty of the Garden. God loves his creation and wanted to remain in total harmony with man forever. God gave us a free will and mind of our own. Anything less and He would have created robots.

Mankind

...chose to go his own way; do his own thing. The word the Bible gives for that is sin. All of us descend from Adam and have his nature. We are born with the tendency to sin.
We are all sinners. In Romans 3:23, God says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Rather than leave us without hope, God put into place His divine PLAN.

Jesus

...the perfect Son of God, would leave heaven and the unending communion with His Father, and be born into this world to identify with our humanity and  to God's holiness. He would be born of a virgin, live a sinless life, and take the blame and punishment for all of the sins of all of the world. It is INCREDIBLE. It is also that simple.

Death

In Romans 6:23, the Bible says "For the wages of sin is death." Somebody has to pay for your sins. Somebody has to pay for mine. Placed upon someone who is like you or me would be meaningless. Jesus didn't deserve this treatment, but He accepted the sentence freely and willingly. He was the only one who could survive the grave and come through on the other side. (After three days in the grave, Jesus arose bodily and later appeared to his disciples as well as hundreds of others. He ascended to heaven after 40 days to prepare a place for those who follow and love the Lord.)

The gift of God

...is what He offers everyone who will believe that Jesus did this for you and me. It is a personal gift, to be received personally. It is free for you, however it cost Jesus his life. That makes it the most valuable gift you will ever possess.

Faith

...is simply taking God at His word. If God says it, that settles it. Don't try to reason it out. Nobody else could love us this much. That sometimes bogs people down into thinking "This can't be true." or "It can't be this easy." Once you proceed in faith, your eyes will see -- Not the other way around.

Pray

...this prayer if you are willing to give control of your life to the one who created you and loves you the most. You need to be willing to turn away from the direction that your life has been heading, and let Jesus re-make you from the inside out. You will want to cooperate with Him as he gives you a new YOU, and also prepares a home for you in heaven. That's His plan.

Pray: Jesus: I know that I am a sinner. I cannot save myself. You died in my place, and paid the price for all that I did. I accept your death as payment in full for my sins according to the Bible. I know that you arose and am asking you to come into my heart and save me. I cannot change myself, but now allow you to do that. I turn from my sins and receive your free gift of eternal life. Thank you for saving me. In Your name I pray, Amen.

If you prayed this and meant it with all your heart, God has just given you a new life and washed away all of your sins. He says this in the Bible in John 3:16, "For God SO loved the world that He gave his only son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  As you cooperate with the Lord Jesus, He will change you forever. He has just sealed you with His Holy Spirit to guide you and comfort you. You are now saved and can never lose that no matter what! God speaks to you and me through His Word, the Bible. Please get a copy of it and begin reading in the book of John.  Seek out a church that preaches the Bible and join that fellowship. You need to tell someone else today that you prayed and asked Jesus into your life as Master and Lord. Lord means "boss" and you have the best one of all now in the driver's seat of your life!
